Crawford and Company are looking for an Assistant Team Manager to join their ever growing Subsidence department on a permanent basis. Due to the growth of the team, Crawford a seeking a new Assistant Team Manager to help support and act as Deputy to the current Team Manager. You will be responsible for general support such as supporting one-to-ones', development of staff and covering team meetings when needed. General Background, Experience & Professional Qualifications
• Insurance qualification to Certificate level essential - Cert CII/Cert CILA.
• Experience at supervisory level or similar within the financial services sector. Key Responsibilities
• To act as the deputy Team Manager and referral point across their team. To help support, coach and mentor to develop the abilities of the team.
• To assist the Team Manager in providing guidance and support to employees, enabling them to maximise their potential in meeting a variety of demands.
• To identify and highlight training needs to Team Manager and effectively help plan and action delivery of further training/mentoring.
• To support or deputise for the Team Manager in delivering effective and regular communication, including team meetings and huddles.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of external client requirements and relationships which may include attendance at meetings, conference calls and participating in various client specific projects.
• To act as a technical referral point for members of the team supported by others where required i.e. Team Manager, or Senior Management Team.
• Act as complaints champion, dealing with high level escalations or complaints.
• Manage personal portfolio of claims as defined by Manager.
• To support the Team Manager with creating, utilising and reviewing MI to client's standards or to improve performance.
• To assist the Team Manager with various quality audits and checks of teams' work as required.
• To support the Team Manager with completion of "one-to-one's", return to work meetings, with contribution to team annual appraisals.
• To support the Team Manager to identify and proactively address employee issues, such as performance and day to day needs to ensure highest levels of service delivery resulting in excellent customer satisfaction.
• To work collaboratively with the Subsidence Field, Supply Chain, and other internal teams; to identify opportunities for improving the End to End claims process and achieve highest levels of customer satisfaction. Behaviours
