Assistant Accountant - Kingston upon Thames, Surrey - £30,000 The Ashdown Group have been engaged a hugely successful travel business, who are seeking Assistant Accountant to join their team on a six-month fixed-term contract, to go permanent. This highly interesting and varied role will sit within a very successful finance department. It will allow the candidate to secure the role, an excellent amount of exposure in a hands-on team. The candidate to secure this excellent opportunity will assist the Management Accountant with the production of management accounts, review revenue and costs to analyse trends and budget variances, prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support in month and year end processes. The ideal candidate will be a well organised, self-starter with an understanding of accounting principles. A finance-related degree and/or be studying towards an accountancy qualification such as AAT, ACCA, ACA would be highly desirable. The salary on offer is between £25,000 - £30,000, depending on the experience you bring to the role.
