An ambitious and growing distributor within Watford is looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. This position would best suit someone who has already had exposure to management accounts including month end, variance and analysis, accruals and prepayments etc that the company can build upon. Our client is looking for someone who is hungry to learn and apply themselves into a Management Accountant role. There will be the opportunity to support the Finance Manager later down the line and further progression is encouraged. The roles will entail the following but is not limited to; - Assisting in preparing the annual budgets - Partnering with other departments to understand company spend vs budget - Produce variance analysis reports - Monthly VAT reconciliation - Accruals and prepayments - Variance analysis - And more This role will evolve as you do.
