Our client is the leading independent macroeconomic, policy and financial markets research firm. Their worldwide client base consists of over 600 banks, asset managers, corporations, central banks and government organisations. Research is produced from the company's London, New York and Singapore research centres for a global audience. Due to expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced candidate to fill in the post of Billing Controller. The successful candidate would be responsible for all subscription contracts billing functions currently for the UK, Singapore and New York offices. The responsibilities are expected to increase considerably within the next 12 months due to further planned expansions. Main Responsibilities Preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, 6 monthly and annual Direct & Global direct invoices for EMEA, ASIA and USA Preparation and distribution of monthly Reuters and Bloomberg invoices for EMEA, ASIA and USA Processing of Billing including setting up new contracts, Cancellation and Change sheets using SunRI and Salesforce systems Verify and assess all bills before processing ensuring billing is up to date and WIP is kept to a minimum and ensuring timely and accurate billing Detect errors in billing processes and make appropriate corrections Posting invoices on SUN system once approved by Revenue & Contract Manager Annual billing Project process Responding to Customer Queries Assisting with Account Manager Queries Maintain registration, batching and coding for billings Assist and support audit teams during year-end audit in verifying bills and billing data Reconciling client accounts - Statement of Accounts Investigate incorrectly posted receipts Any other ad-hoc duties Procedures Adhere to any common standards set across the company and ensures that policies are procedures are adequately documented Ensure that company systems and compliance are followed at all times Make written records of all conversations with clients and other relevant business contacts Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience Essential Experience and knowledge Experience of subscription billing and accounting Hands on style Dynamic, quick learner, with excellent communication skills Innovative Able to grow with the company Happy to work long hours as may be required Essential Qualifications: Degree Desirable Experience and knowledge Understanding of the financial services and/or market data industry Experience of multi-jurisdiction accounting and tax Experience of using SUN, SUN RI and Salesforce essential Salary £30k-£35k depending on experience.
