Gleeson Recruitment Group are working with a FTSE organisation in Solihull who are going through an extended period of change, which has created a new Senior Finance Analyst position within one of their biggest divisions to focus on the collection, analysis and interpretation of divisional financial data, and an expectation that this role will support and influence key stakeholders across the group. The organisation has a huge finance team which will provide high performers a platform to progress their career across multiple divisions internationally. The majority of the Senior Leadership team started in a similar level role to this, and have seen their careers develop across Commercial Finance, FP&A & Financial Reporting. This role would suit an Accountant who has completed their ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifications and has an extensive background in analysis, or has PLC experience and is looking for a new opportunity within a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. Key responsibilities include: Provide key analysis and information to support the understanding of Working Capital performance across all businesses within the group: The ability to analyse, interpret and effectively report upon large quantities of financial data is key to the role. Conduct analysis as necessary to provide value added insight in support of key financial metrics and objectives. Oversea customer and supplier factoring if applicable. Support taxation strategy & execution for the Division, including assisting with the Operating Model or alternative; General Services Agreements / Cost Sharing Agreements and Other recharging mechanism Promote Group Treasury policy and controls Assist in the development of analytical models that utilize financial data to provide insight into past performance and future forecasts for Working Capital. Identify opportunities to improve financial performance across the Division, including working capital management and the delivery of sustainable cash flow. Support the production of the division's monthly and annual Working capital reporting requirements. Extract & Consolidate data from relevant financial and other business systems to support business decision-making and process improvement.
