The Role This is a high profile and key management role within the Accounts and Finance function with responsibility of circa 15 staff. The role will have overall responsibility for team delivery, staff motivation and team development. As this is a high profile role there will significant business partnering and manager multiple stakeholder relationships across the business from top to bottom. The role works closely with and will support the various team leaders within the SSC to deliver robust solutions to the business that improve processes, ensure financial compliance, whilst working to achieve targets and deliverables as set by head of department. As the Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager the role will include but will not be limited to the following duties: High level management of the following teams; Accounts Payable, Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliation & Expense, including daily tasks, monthly reviews and annual appraisal Developing and fostering engagement with direct reports and their teams to enhance motivation and delivery of outputs - KPI setting and checking Ensure that resources and skills of the team are appropriate for changing business needs Assist in the implementation of systems, projects and improvements across the group - representing Accounts Payable and Receivable as the SME Continue to develop relationships between Accounts Payable and Receivable and other areas of the business to promote collaborative working resulting in the delivery of solutions that are beneficial to multiple areas. The Candidate It is absolutely essential that any applicant have significant experience of leading and developing large teams of at least 10 staff. Any more would be most welcome. It is also imperative to have had experience across Accounts Payable AND Accounts Receivable within a Shared Service Centre. In addition the ideal candidate should have: Prior working experience within a multinational business with multiple currencies High volume processing experience Extremely strong excel skills to be able for data analysis and reporting Demonstrable experience of implementing end to end process improvement projects with multiple stakeholders Positive, forward thinking attitude - with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels within the business Self-motivated - able to work to tight deadlines and deliver results as required Ability to work as part of a team, utilising resources where available and pro actively working alone where necessary Ability to commute into central London The Package The company is simply too good to miss out on.
