The successful Candidate will be responsible for implementing all aspects of food safety and quality in all Leon Restaurants. A bit about the role: Preparation of weekly trading/KPI reports Producing the management accounts by the end of the fifth working day following period end Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis, and that all balances are correct and differences investigated To become the main point of contact for area managers for financial support and queries on Profit and Loss Statements Production and posting of key journals including Accruals, Prepayments, Accrued and Deferred Income. Completion of annual budgets and planning process Producing the quarterly VAT return Management of the fixed asset register and capital expenditure reporting Ownership of property prepayments, rent free periods and turnover rent Weekly cash flow reporting To provide any additional accounting / analytical work as required by the Senior Management Accountant or Director of Finance Key Attributes: Passionate about the Leon brand and Values Excellent attention to detail Willingness to learn and be part of team A real team player Essential: Finalist / Qualified ACCA / CIMA - all first time passes Excellent communication skills - have the confidence and ability to discuss numbers with either the CEO or a restaurant manager Excellent knowledge of Excel Self Starter; someone who can "hit the ground running" Advantage: Multi-site experience either hospitality or retail would be an advantage Knowledge of Navision accounting software would be an advantage Knowledge of Fourth Hospitality products would be an advantage If this sounds like something of interest, please send us your CV in total confidence and we will be in touch.
