Trainee Tax Associate We are currently seeking applications for Trainee Tax Associate for an industry leading tax advisory firm with a commitment to staff development, based in Market Harborough. Working within the client services team and with a focus on Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT). We are ideally looking for candidates educated to degree level and with some relevant industry experience. Key Role and

Responsibilities:
Providing high quality SDLT advisory services to a wide range of clients including individuals and corporates. Act as the first point of contact for clients. Build, develop and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with senior managers, directors and partners who will provide you with the support and opportunities to excel in your role. Taking a key role in delivery of client projects. Being involved in business development and proposal activity. Liaise with relevant legal bodies, HMRC and other government institutions on client matters. Monitoring and upholding high quality of service to clients. Being proactive dealing with large volumes of work. Key Experience and Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a methodical approach to work. A self-starter who is resourceful and can take initiative on tasks. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to take ownership of and prioritise a large workload. Responds well to constructive feedback. Works in a cooperative, respectful manner with colleagues and clients. Ability to adapt quickly and work well under pressure, whilst working to tight deadlines. Qualifications A general awareness of the UK tax system (primarily stamp taxes) would be an advantage but is not a requirement. Bachelor's or equivalent University degree, or equivalent work-related experience. ATT/AAT Qualification would be a bonus but is in no way essential.
