We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a temporary, fixed term basis for maternity cover. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our charity providing support the Head of Finance and I.T for minimum of 9 months for maternity cover. This role would suit somebody looking for a part time opportunity, working 25 hours per week over 5 days who is flexible. The candidate should be a forward-thinking individual and must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under their own initiative and to deadlines. Knowledge or experience of working in the voluntary sector, not for profit or small charity desirable. The candidate should be AAT Level 4 qualified or equivalent and have knowledge of financial systems and protocols, with long-standing experience of working within a similar role. Advanced Book-keeping experience with a high level of numeracy skills is also an essential part of the role.
