Job Description - Risk - ICG - VP in Public Sector (18057137)Job Description Risk - ICG - VP in Public Sector-18057137Description CitiRisk - ICG - VP in Public SectorCompetitive Salary Offered Job Purpose: To coordinate portfolio management initiatives and supporting Public Sector Portfolio Head in conducting effective reviews for periodic and transaction driven considerations as well as prepare presentations for senior management and participate in ICG Risk wide projects relevant to Public Sector Portfolio. Job Background: The Public Sector Portfolio Head based in London works through a matrix organization including ICG Risk staff deployed in the countries and regional hubs. The open position is in the "global" team that reports to the Portfolio Head in London Key

Responsibilities:
Analytical support and coordination of portfolio management initiatives relevant for Public Sector Portfolio (e.g. updating risk rating methodologies, investigating breaches under concentration frameworks, ad-hoc stress testing, preparing senior management presentations) Risk Assessment and consistency evaluation of credit reviews submitted for the approval of the Global Head of Public Sector Risk with an ability to formulate and defend approval recommendation (including complex, multi-product transactional requests)Providing macro updates sensitive for credit appetite and engaging in classification trigger considerations in countries being reviewedDemonstrate solid command of internal policies and conceptually contribute to the format of Public Sector frameworksInteracting with other ICG product and industry groups to assist in developing appropriate credit strategies for individual transactions Development Value: Extensive interface with all businesses supported by Risk Management, and the opportunity to gain detailed knowledge of the public sector (including Aggregated Corporates and Financial Institutions) and country risk credit evaluation. Exposure to complex transactions and ability to build a global network In addition to Citi's training, Risk Management offers excellent ongoing internal training sessions by experts, and ad hoc specialised classes for ongoing professional development.Qualifications Candidates who meet the criteria above and have the necessary skills and experience will be considered.Knowledge/Experience:Knowledge of credit systems and data sources (both external and internal) General knowledge and interest in Macroeconomics Analytical and numerical proficiency Teamwork oriented and possessing communication skills essential in dealing with a global network and matrix organizationSkills:Preferred experience in credit risk assessment Excellent PC skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to aid in the creation of presentations and portfolio reviewsVerbal and Written communication Interpersonal skills.
