Working within a team of highly regarded internal auditors, you will be seen as both a business partner as well as trusted advisor ensuring that best practice is maintained and enhanced as well as ensuring that the audit framework is fit for purpose and meets the current and ongoing requirements of the business. The role is varied in nature offering audit exposure to operational, retail, and financial audits across a range of business units each with their own stakeholders and particular business / market exposures. The team and business operate to a forward looking audit plan, affording you the ability to know when and where you will be many months in advance. The travel is c50% (an actual figure rather than optimistic) with a couple of trips into Europe each year.
