I am looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant for a Global business based in Edinburgh City Centre. The main purpose of this role is to support the group Finance function in leading the balance sheet control and statutory audit processes, preparing month end postings and other ad hoc tasks. The successful candidate should be Qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and will be responsible for line managing a small team of Financial and Project Accountants - so previous line management experience is essential. Duties will include: Control and reconciliations of group balance sheet Year end stat accounts Month end procedures Year end audit management Preparing monthly journals and annual financial statements in line with FRS102 Team management Continuous improvement A sound knowledge of Accounting Principles and UK GAAP/FRS102 is essential for this position.
