Job Description We are currently seeking to recruit a full time Finance Officer for our busy financial services team based at our National Headquarters in Edinburgh on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Finance department where you will be responsible for all aspects of credit control and for the preparation of the monthly Vat return. You will analyse and reconcile various ledger accounts on a monthly basis and will be responsible for the day to day management of the Scottish Ambulance Service Endowment Fund. You will be able to find solutions to problems that arise using your own initiative, knowledge and experience. Applicants will be able to work in a busy office environment, and should be able to prioritise their workload according to deadlines. Excellent communication skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and financial systems experience are essential for the post. Previous experience of working within a finance team would also be an advantage. Please note that we anticipate the interview date for this position will be in the week commencing 29th July.
