Success Recruit are currently working with a construction related company based in South Essex who are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to work closely with the Financial Controller. The successful candidate must be ACCA qualified with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel. The successful Assistant Management Accountant will be expected to:
• High attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines whilst under pressure
• Ideally have experience using Sage
• Strong team player, helping out in other areas of Accounts

• Onsite parking Job Specification Purpose of the Role The Assistant Management Accountant will be working closely with the Financial Controller being responsible for a range of tasks across all accounting levels. Duties to include:
• Supporting with the monthly accounts
• Having an overview of Purchase Ledger, ensuring a twice weekly update meeting is held with the Financial Controller
• Process, reconcile and file CIS return and send out statements
• Preparation of the VAT returns
• Posting stock related journals including, depreciation, accruals and prepayments
• Ensure completion of Bank Reconciliations
• Raising monthly invoices
• Reconcile cashflow to Sage Debtors and Creditors list
• Allocating timesheets to jobs on Sage and prepare the timesheets for payroll
• Liaise with all Suppliers and Subcontractors on a daily basis and updating cash flow This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their career and wants to be a part of a busy and growing company. Hours: Monday to Friday - 9AM to 5:00PM

Salary:
