Our Chelmsford office are currently recruiting for a Mixed Tax Executive to join the team. This role will consist of using your prior knowledge of fundamentals of tax compliance, dealing with client communications and leading through to inputting data using relevant tax software. Bank Holidays, plus the opportunity to buy or sell up to 5 days Very competitive salary Employee Recognition awards and bonuses Amazing employee referral scheme, paying up to £4000 for a successful referral Responsibilities Corporate, Personal, Trust and Estate Tax compliance Liaising with clients to gather and organise the relevant figures and documentation required to make necessary submissions to the UK tax authorities in a timely manner. Preparation of Corporate, Individual, Partnership and Non-Resident Landlord Returns. Advisory work including researching and providing written reports to clients on complex tax areas. Monitoring and reminding clients of payments on account, arranging and processing payments where necessary. Relationship building with other third parties as necessary to maintain a smooth annual running of the tax cycle for clients. Making enquiries to HMRC on behalf of clients as required. Preparing case work for enquiries and disclosures. Managing budgets, including monitoring work in progress and preparing fees. Qualifications and Skills Well experienced with IT packages (Excel, Tax Software, Word) Experience or some exposure with Alpha tax, CCH Central, Caseware Previous experience working in a Financial organisation, with some practice experience which is not essential, but desirable. Strong communication and organisational skills Client focused with a problem solving approach to tasks.
