The Role The position of Senior Group Financial Accountant will report to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the Director of Finance. To be considered for this opportunity you must be a qualified Accountant with group experience and be extremely competent in the preparation of statutory accounts, audit preparation and ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet whilst developing processes, procedures & controls. On Offer The role of Senior Group Financial Accountant is based in Edinburgh in their modern and highly technological offices. It will offer: Highly competitive salary Generous bonus potential based on company & personal performance Fantastic employer pension contributions Excellent holiday allowance A range of other company perks including private medical healthcare You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties: Report to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the Director of Finance Preparation of statutory accounts and returns under local & international standards Assisting with the consolidation of local and international financial statements Assisting with high value & business critical projects Reviewing & developing processes, procedures & controls Ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet Leading the year-end audit process Assisting with treasury including intercompany accounting Maintenance of fixed-asset register Overseeing month end process including journals, accruals, prepayments etc. Assisting with system developments and enhancements Building relationships with other core finance functions and departments across the business Adhoc duties To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience: Qualified Accountant - ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA Group experience with ideally consolidation exposure Extremely well versed in financial accounting Ability to interact and influence with senior internal & external stakeholders Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Please do not hesitate to contact John Gilbertson for a private & confidential discussion.
