The Commercial Finance Business Partner/Finance Manager role is a critical role within this well-known, family owned business. This role with provide key business support to senior stakeholders to manage and control financial risk, and highlight new opportunities for the business as well has having responsibility for the commercial finance team.

A large family-owned manufacturing business, based in North Leeds.

Description

The Commercial Finance Business Partner/Finance Manager is responsible for:

  • Responsibility of the Commercial Finance Team ensuring that it meets financial and auditory requirements
  • Responsibility for pricing
  • Providing thorough analysis and reports to track performance and support ongoing performance of the business
  • To review and assess the performance of the business, highlighting any opportunities and/or risk
  • To work closely with Directors and General Manager to add value and support with key business decisions
  • To manage the Commercial Finance team and support the ongoing development of junior members of the team

Profile

You will:

  • Hold a fully recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Have previous experience of working within Commercial finance
  • Be confident and able to build relationships and business partner with internal customers and stakeholders
  • Have previous experience of managing a team
  • Have implemented financial controls
  • Have analysed and reported on financial performance of a business and used this information to support key business decisions
  • Have strong negotiating and influence skills
  • Have a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic

Job Offer

£50-£60,000 (doe) plus benefits
