Assistant Management Accountant Bristol £28,000 Benefits About the role Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team that work to support a large fleet management contract for the MoD. You will support the finance team to help deliver day to day and monthly finance activities, such as variance analysis and forecasting/budgeting. You will also assist in Fixed Asset Management of circa 1,000 vehicles, payroll reconciliation, preparation of accruals and journals for month end as well as assisting in budgeting & forecasting cycles and billing and aged debt analysis. What do I need to do the role? The ideal candidate will be a part qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) or qualified at AAT Technician level or qualified by experience. Intermediate Excel skills are essential Knowledge of management accounting - month end accounts production and reconciliation (P&L, Balance sheet & Cash Flow) Ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines What else do I need to know? The role is office based from our location in Aztec West, Bristol This role can be considered for flexible working The role does require the successful applicant to be eligible for MoD security clearance (SC) this will be completed by us at the point of offer.
