In this Audit and Accounts Manager role, you will manage the team in your area as they prepare and audit statutory accounts and corporation tax returns where applicable, with this part of the job role you will take great care in: Quality control Efficiency Support Communication Your role will also include: Regularly report on the workflow and the work in progress to the directors. Forthcoming deadlines and job costs Liaise with other managers and directors to ensure the job goes as it should Ensure regular and constructive feedback is given to Audit and Accounts team members Assist your team is their development and training needs Managing relationships with the client focusing deeply on their needs Dealing with queries and requests as they arise Our client's ideal candidate for this Audit and Accounts Manager role: Be ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualified and have up to date CPD Have a minimum of four years of post-qualification experience in practice Preparation and audit of statutory accounts under new UK GAAP Be comfortable reviewing corporation tax and VAT returns and be familiar with all the aspects of this Excellent written and verbal communication skills Have proven analytical skills Attention to detail Be comfortable managing multiple competing engagements, workflows and timeframes and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
