Due to their rapid growth, our client has created a group reporting function that is now based at their corporate office in the heart of Central London. This small team is driving change and improvements within the corporate finance process, systems and standards. Responsibilities:
Consolidating UK-business financial performance, budgets and forward-looking forecasts, and provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of performance Building the financial models and the reporting and analysis of business unit operational KPIs and metrics Identify, analyses and communicate current trends and their impact on forward-looking financial forecasts and investigate variances against historic and forecasted results to facilitate decisionmaking towards the Group strategic plan Liaise with business units concerning the creation, handling, processing or receiving of reports to gather requirements for improvements. Monitor data trends in all reports and work closely with regional budget owners to ensure a comprehensive and quality forecast Identify opportunities and implement solutions in the organization by identifying process deficiencies, offering scalable solutions and driving cross-departmental collaboration to implement those solutions Design and deliver management reports as per agreed schedule and support the business and corporate leadership ensuring robust budgeting & forecasting tools to support informed business decisions Own the delivery of the month-end and quarterly reporting including management packs, revenue performance reviews, variance analysis and succinct and contextual commentary for submission to the Senior Leadership team Cross-function coordination and close coordination with various units System implementation support - reporting and consolidation Ability to run complex group level consolidations processes Ad hoc duties, analysis as required by the business Key Skills Required: Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) 3 - 5 years' post qualification experience in a similar role or in audit Advanced Microsoft office skills - excel, power point, word etc. Experienced in using reporting and consolidations tools like INFOR (DEPM), Hyperion or equivalent Experience working within a group reporting function is essential. Ability and experience to handle complex group consolidations and abreast with latest accounting standards Have independently handled management accounts both in terms of preparation and presentation to management Great command over numbers Great attention to detail, strong analytical skill Strong understanding of IFRS/UK GAAP (FRS101/102) or U.S GAAP Knowledge of group level accounting concepts - acquisition and disposals accounting, impairment reviews, assets valuations Full financial statement preparations with notes, cash flows etc. Personal Attributes: Team player.
