An opportunity has become available for an experienced Financial Controller to join us in Derby on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. Working with our client - a leading health and beauty retailer and pharmacy chain - you'll manage a small finance team ensuring Facilities Management services are delivered efficiently and within budget. Leading your team, you will ensure all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner. You'll create and analyse invoices to ensure maintenance spend for our client is both within budget and accurate. It will be essential to maintain a good relationship with our client as well as third party contractors to ensure efficiency within the service provided. An integral part of your position will be providing regular spend analysis reports and updates to our client. We want to hear from you if you are an experienced people leader with a finance background. ACCA/CIMA qualifications are desirable and experience and knowledge of the Verisae system would be ideal but not necessary as training will be given. You'll be an experienced user of MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint with confidence creating and analysing financial reports. We are looking for someone who has impeccable communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to multi-task and work on their own initiative. Of course, you'll have excellent people management, planning, organisational and time management skills.
