So.... are you the Accounts and Audit Graduate Trainee we are looking for? We have the perfect training opportunity in our Newcastle office for you. Working closely with senior members of the Accounts and Audit team you will develop your knowledge of the accounting and auditing industry. While gaining practical accountancy and auditing experience, you will gain a professional qualification and exposure to a variety of different clients, industries and sectors. You will:
• Assist with preparing accounts on behalf of multiple clients
• Work with accounting software including Sage to provide accounting services for clients
• Prepare an analytical review on profit and loss and make recommendations on differences
• Delegate tasks, train and mentor apprenticeship team members
• Support the Audit team with the completion of client Audits including assistance onsite
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for clients
• Study and work towards qualifications, complete required exams and incorporating day release study What you'll need:
• Be educated to degree level
• Have strong numeracy skills
• A full UK driver's license is desirable
• Be adaptable and have a flexible approach to work
• Be computer literate
• Have strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Be self-motivated and willing to learn For you: A fully supported three-year training contract for a professional qualification (ACA, AAT) with a competitive salary and benefits package. Working in a city centre location, with parking close by and great public transport links.
