Are you an experienced bookkeeper with Sage experience? Would you enjoy working in a standalone role but being part of a small office based team? Are you enthusiastic about joining a growing SME located in the Bedale, Thirsk and Ripon areas? Our client is recruiting for an Accounts Manager with strong bookkeeping experience to join their team on a permanent basis. You will work as part of a busy but small office team and have responsibility for all Accounts Administration including inputting purchase invoices to producing month end accounts for the Directors. This role would suit someone who is AAT qualified or a QBE bookkeeper. Duties will include:

Responsibilities:
Good knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Office Purchase ledger, Sales ledger, Credit control Bank and accounts reconciliations VAT returns Payroll including weekly and monthly paid Month end - taking accounts to trial balance Liaise with external accountant regarding month end/year end The client is ideally looking for someone full-time but part-time candidates will also be considered.
