Accounts Assistant £18-25k pro rata 16-20 hours per week Based in Warwick The Company My client is a private limited company who design and manufacture a wide range of sensors, switches and gauges for the control and monitoring of fuel, oil, water and coolant levels and temperatures for OEM customers worldwide. The role This is a new role that will be a stand-alone finance position in the Warwick office. We are seeking a confident, approachable individual who can work both independently and as part of a small team. The role of Accounts Assistant will be varied and busy. Full training will be given for the processes and systems in place. The Accounts Assistant will be required to undertake tasks given by the Finance Director in Italy. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for: Manage the sales ledger Raise, create and send customer invoices and statements Registering customer payments Control and reconciliation of ledger accounts Sending reminders to customers for payments Maintenance of the debtors list. Assist in month-end processes Develop and generate monthly reports Taking pro-forma payments This role will suit an individual who has worked in an SME within a finance team and is looking for a flexible and busy position. This is a part time position with flexibility on hours and days. The person will be a strong administrator with a can-do attitude who will be willing to develop new skills.
