Responsibilities:
- As Associate Director/ Head of Tax you will be part of a growing and modern accountancy practice in Nottingham; this role offers the opportunity to lead the firm's tax offering and form part of the senior management team, setting the objectives of the firm at a tax level and being integral in the growth of the firms tax team. - You will have high levels of expertise including mixed taxes alongside being the lead in projects and advisory work etc. - You will be part of the firm's leadership by working on and leading projects, occasional help on personal tax, advising clients on new structures, R&D, advisory opportunities etc. Any indirect taxes or VAT knowledge would be useful. - You will be part of the senior management team and you will have responsibility for target setting for the tax department and play a crucial role in the continued growth and development of the firm, including recruitment, new clients and developing of new services and specialisms. You will be qualified CTA/ ACCA / ACA and wanting greater opportunity to develop your expertise and really use your qualifications and experience to advise clients and shape a growing practice. Progression in your role and salary is available. The firm has seen double digit growth for several years and has considerable growth plans and some complex and sizeable tax project work. You will receive support and training to allow you to develop in the role, but this role requires a go-getter personality.
