Your new company
A well respected International not for profit organisation that also has a strong presence in the UK. Their focus is on education within languages and the performing arts. They have an income of over £40m, most of their income coming from fees for services. We are currently recruiting a Finance Business Partner who will partner with the UK and European hubs of the organisation.


Your new role
This role will operate as a finance business partner, and as an integral part of the Group finance team you support the ongoing improvement in reporting. You will deliver a high-quality finance service to the Hub. This includes leading on project accounting, performance monitoring, budgeting and forecasting. The post holder will raise the profile of the finance function by adding value to the strategic initiatives, acting as a consultant and advisor on all accounting-related issues that may arise and moving forward the concept of "finance as a service" not a processing function. This role will drive finance interaction and support of operational teams by providing financial insight and guiding the Hub functions through the business planning cycle. This includes communication of financial information, for operational management. and control: interpreting financial- information including management accounts and budget reports and guiding the Hub on what the information means in relation to its performance. The UK and Europe Senior Business Partner will advise the Hub of the financial consequences of business decisions made and provide guidance accordingly.


What you'll need to succeed
Qualified Accountant
Experience within commercially focused roles (although not necessarily within the commercial sector)
Experience of Business cases and financial modelling would be an advantage
Strong communication skills with a collaborative working style
Experience within an International organisation would be an advantage.
