Trainee Management Accountant position for South West division of market leading construction business

Client Details

My client are a nationally renowned housebuilder operating from a regional office in Exeter. They are FTSE 250 listed and employee well over 5000 people.

They are seeking a bright, high-potential trainee management accountant to work closely with the regional FC and FD, helping to drive their impressive recent growth

Description

• Performing month end reconciliations and providing accounts analysis
• Assisting with the internal and external audits
• Bank reconciliations on a weekly basis
• Reconciliation of inter-company balances on a monthly basis
• Preparation of monthly VAT returns with assistance
• Preparation and input of journals, prepayments and accruals
• Compliance with GDPR/AML and safeguarding company assets
• Assisting in weekly and monthly reporting to Group
• Any other finance duties as directed & required

Profile

We are open to considering top-tier graduates with limited experience, through to AAT qualified accountants seeking the next step.

Experience and Qualifications:

• AAT qualified
• Looking to further their qualifications by route of CIMA
• Good technical use of Excel - e.g. pivot tables (training will also be provided)

Job Offer

This role will pay a basic salary of £20-25,000
