Group Compliance Officer Job paying £35K pro-rata on a Permanent basis

Your new company is a well-established charity based in Central London. The leading charity promotes best practice and helps shape the highest technical and health & safety standards.

Your new role
You will be responsible for ensuring that the group companies comply with its external regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal policies within the remits of the Financial Conduct Authority, the General Data Protection Regulations and general Corporate Governance. You will act as the Responsible Person for the purposes of GDPR and to co-ordinate response Subject Access Requests ensuring compliance. You will also oversee the accurate and timely reporting of all compliance reports including regulatory returns/notifications to the FCA and ICO.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have knowledge and understanding of FCA regulations, GDPR and Corporate Governance. Having the ability to interpret and articulate compliance and risk management in a concise and effective manner. Being solutions focussed with the ability to partner with business units is important. Likewise, you will need to be educated to degree level or equivalent and preferably have training/qualification in auditing.
