Management Accountant - Fixed Term Contract Job based in Telford Immediate start 6-9 month contract

I am working with a global manufacturing business based in Telford who have a job vacancy within their finance department. This vacancy is for an immediate start and would suit a Part-Qualified/Qualified Management Accountant keen to gain further experience within the manufacturing sector.

Your new role
Based in a busy accounts office and reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for daily management of Fixed asset register. This includes creating new master records in SAP, ensuring costs are correctly allocated and asset is depreciated over the correct number of years. You will also be responsible for cost controlling for capital expenditure as well as completing monthly management reports including sales and monthly spend for both operational and capital expenditure. As part of your wider role you will also help improve processes to improve efficiency when reporting including using excel formulas and macros.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for part-qualified/qualified/qualified by experience accountants - ACA/ACCA/CIMA. Previous experience with Fixed Assets would be an advantage as would a manufacturing/costing background. As this is an interim contract we are looking for applicants available at short-notice.
