As an FS Senior Audit Manager, you will be a key member of the audit group and will be responsible for servicing clients, directing all assurance services delivered and managing our people and practice.FS Senior Audit Managers to be based in one of the following offices:

• Bristol Responsibilities Act a Senior Audit Manager on a range of financial services clients. Overall responsibility for each assignment will be retained by the PartnerResponsible for leading and directing all aspects of audit services deliveredPeople management responsibilities covering resource planning and allocation, performance management, training and recommendations for promotion. Act as a mentor to team members and provide coaching with a view to assisting them to achieve their personal career goals. Responsible for maximising profitability from a portfolio of clients and taking responsibility for budgeting, WiP control and billingLiaison with central departments on risk management, technical and other mattersTake part in wider practice management at local levelSupport Directors and Partners in group sales and marketing activity, including playing a leading role in client pitch teams, attendance at group networking, and other marketing events as appropriateParticipate in Key Account ManagementEngage with clients directly on technical and audit judgement decisions. Requirements ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalentEducated up to degree level or CTSPrevious Senior Audit Manager or Manager in practiceListed client and financial services client experience desirableKnowledge of the CASS rules and experience of client money and assets audits, reporting to the FCA desirableExcellent working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirementsManaging and developing staff (not only audit teams), i.e. coordinating staff projects, mentoring, counselling, appraising, recruiting etc.Proven experience in managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams in a project management framework Our Agency PolicyBDO has a commitment to building relationships directly with candidates (and agencies) in our local markets and as such, we do not accept speculative CVs from agencies.
