Job descriptionOverviewStrategy& Deals, part of the PwC network, is a practice made up of approximately 150 consultants in London with international teams across the Strategy& network. Our team works with a wide variety of corporate and private equity clients, undertaking a broad range of projects involving commercial due diligence and strategic reviews.Our projects are typically short and sharp, providing the opportunity to gain a variety of experiences across sectors and/or engagement types, whilst continuously learning and developing. The majority of our work is London-based but there are times when it is required to travel abroadAs a fast-growing team we are now looking for Strategy Professionals to join us through the next phase of our journeyAbout the roleWe are looking for Managers/Senior Managers to join our team to work on pricing/revenue management projects across sectors. These roles are integral in driving project delivery to provide insightful solutions for our clients.As a (Senior) Manager on our team you will have responsibility for Leading a team of consultants on a day-to-day basis, taking responsibility for primary research and data gathering; identifying key research areas and organising the junior team appropriately to effectively understand the key topics pertinent to the relevant industry sector and scope of workplanning initial hypotheses and analysis; formulating initial hypotheses based on previous experience, knowledge of the sector and understanding of the scope of work. Driving key analysis with appropriate techniques and toolseffective storyboarding (with inputs from Directors and Partners) to present a compelling narrative to the clientManaging the pace and delivery of projects, including day-to-day coordination with key project stakeholders including clients and other internal teamsupward management of senior team members to ensure progress is effectively communicatedreporting back to clients the key findings of our workContributing to the wider business unit through business development, knowledge sharing, mentoring and other activitiesAbout youExperience in consulting clients on pricing/revenue management topics is a "must have" for this role. Ideally, candidate should also have experience across different sectors and topics such as pricing strategy, setting, implementation and controlling;Ability to design and analyse customer research (direct or indirect);Experience of strategy consulting from either a pure strategy consulting firm, Big 4 firm, or experience in the strategy department in a corporate environmentIdeally some experience in commercial due diligence work for private equity houses and/or corporates, including Market and competitor analysis (market sizing, drivers and dynamics, competitive intensity, etc.)Customer analysisInternal analysis (strategic analysis, business model review, financial))Previous experience of leading teams and delivering projects through to completionProven experience of coaching junior team membersEvidence of contributing to the wider team and leading on business development opportunitiesExcellent academic track record (an MBA is not necessarily required, but is considered an asset)Excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishFluency in another (European) language is useful but not essentialDealsOur Deals business is an exciting, fast-paced and an ever-growing business that focuses on deals and crisis situations for our clients.
