A position has arisen for a Graduate Trainee Finance Analyst to join a progressive company based in Slough. The business is offering a fantastic working environment with excellent benefits. It a great opportunity for somebody wanting to gain experience in Forecasting, Financial Control and reporting. The role will be reporting mainly to the Finance Manager but will have regular interaction with the site Finance teams across the company.
Responsibilities:
Support all financial planning & reporting requirements, including period end & year end processes. Accurately calculate and process all required prepayments and accruals as part of period end close. Assist with FC1 / FC2 and Budget Planning process Prepare accurate monthly financial reports with clear and concise explanations to correct adverse variances Maintain financial control for all elements of finance ensuring costs are in line with contract and incremental costs Track and manage Treasury on Currency Hedge requirements. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for Accruals and Prepayments GL Accounts Prepare Sundry Invoice documentation for rebates, advising Site Accountants of values being crediting within the period. Ensure all accounting entries are completed and correct allocation to Sites Support Auditors Requirements at year end or as and when required. Other Ad Hoc duties as required Requirements for the position: Candidate are expected to study towards or are already studying towards their Accountancy qualifications (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) Good Excel knowledge (VLOOKUP and Pivot table) Constantly looking at ways to improve and streamline reporting processes to ensure all activities add value.
