Our client based in central Farnham, has recently relocated and is looking to build their finance team. Main
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and continuous improvement of management reporting systems, processes, controls and output Preparation and review of Monthly Management accounts with full commentary on variances Provision of timely and accurate financial information Monthly Sales and Wages Reports and Graphs Monthly VAT reporting and Intrastat submission Fixed asset reporting, depreciation, write offs, additions and disposals Capital Expenditure reporting Company Car Fleet, Insurance/MOT/Tax etc. Assist in preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts including analysis and explanation of key movements and emerging trends and issues Provide support to Finance Manager and the team on business planning analysis and ad hoc projects as required. Assist in stock counts and preparation of Half and Year End accounts Month end accounts reconciliations Assisting in ad-hoc duties as required by Finance Manager The ideal person will have worked in a similar role producing management accounts in a busy environment. They will need to apply proven all-round accounts experience in financial and admin issues. The ability and willingness to be flexible in a changing environment is essential. The successful candidate will have the ability and confidence to manage the accounts team when the Finance Manager is on holiday, to ensure deadlines are met.
