Finance Accounts Assistant Contract: Temporary cover maternity contract
Shirley Solihull Hourly rate: £10-12 depending on experience Description: Our client is a leading supplier in the engineering industry, seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Accounts Assistant, to cover maternity until December 2019. Key Duties include: Daily bank reconciliations using Sage line 50 2019 edition Responsible for maintaining the company purchase and sales ledger Credit control to chase outstanding payments mainly by phone when required Investigate and resolve any customer invoicing queries and raise credits where required Daily loading customer remittances Match delivery notes to purchase invoices Upload purchase invoices and delivery notes Monthly supplier statement reconciliations Process employee company expenses on a monthly basis Support with month end reporting and VAT returns Maintain accurate records in Excel on a daily basis Key Skills and Experience: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in using SAGE 50 is essential Proven experience in finance and accounts is essential. Ability to work in a small team and fast paced environment is essential. The working hours are 8.30 - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30 - 4.30pm Friday. Free parking is available onsite.
