Systems Accountant - 6 months contract My client is in the process of replacing all their business systems and is about to embark upon a project to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Systems Accountant role will take a key role in the implementation of Business Central. You will be acting as the Product Owner for the Finance function, representing Finance during the requirements gathering, creating the vision, prioritising the workload, managing the backlog, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and defining new processes to operate with the Business Central system. You will also be the main conduit from the project team to the Finance team to manage and deliver communications, priorities and implementation of change. You will actively engage on an ongoing basis with other members of the project team and external suppliers to ensure no delays in the project, and with business management to ensure their buy-in for your decision making. You will be defining the data to be migrated from the current NAV system into Business Central, and you will use your knowledge of Dynamics NAV and/or Business Central to create and execute user testing plans on an ongoing basis, ensuring that everything works how it should work, whether standard code, configuration, bespoke development, reporting, interfaces or migrated data.
