Areas of Responsibility: Management of the finance team incorporating: Preparation of the monthly management accounts and Board/Exec MI, including forecast and variance reporting for the Executive/Board and ongoing improvement of management and planning information Preparation of the annual report and accounts and Pillar 3 disclosure Responsibility for the financial control environment including interim and annual audit process, providing key input to the Audit Committee. Management of the treasury back office, including trade control and customer and wholesale payments Production of the 3 year corporate plan and regular forecasts including financial modelling, coordination of key stakeholders and presentations to the Board Financial planning and analysis including Treasury middle office & ALCO reporting, developing the balance sheet and income and margin strategy with the Executive and Product Pricing Committee Control, budgeting and reporting of the cost base including detailed analysis and identification of cost efficiencies. Management of monthly payroll and staff expenses Regulatory reporting submissions to the PRA/BoE. Assessment of new regulatory requirements and development of reporting framework Preparation of the annual ICAAP document for Board review including responsibility for stress scenario modelling. Skills and Behaviours required: Qualified accountant with 10 years' experience in a finance function 5 years' experience working in or managing a financial department Experience of managing/developing teams, organising projects and priorities, managing key stakeholders Retail banking/mortgage experience preferable. Good understanding of the UK financial services environment and the mortgage/retail savings market
