As a Credit Control Manager you will be responsible for : Day to day management of the credit control team Provision of support, coaching, training and guidance to the credit control team Setting targets for the credit control team and monitoring performance against targets Setting the right tone and culture standards, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve targets Balancing workloads to ensure team objectives are met, and covering absences Undertake regular Debt Ledger reviews and agree future action required Performing credit checks on new clients (where appropriate) and recommending credit limits. Look at ways to improve existing processes and practices Communicate concerns upwards in a timely fashion and communicate with other departments Keep up to date with relevant legislation so that guidance relating to policies and processing activities can be given to team members as necessary Ensure the team meets work deadlines Completion and filing of court papers, attendance at court where required and follow up to ensure payments are made Liaise with the external dept collection agency to ensure collection of challenging depts is progressed appropriately Provide management information and reporting as required Provide day to day support to the business To succeed, you will need solid credit control and management experience.
