Finance Manager- Edinburgh- Salary- up to £55k- Contract Are you experienced working as a Finance Manager and looking for a new challenge within a highly reputable organisation? Would you enjoy the opportunity to lead a high performing team and challenge yourself within a busy industry? We are looking to speak with strong, technical accountants, that also have team management experience, for an exciting new opportunity with a well regarded Professional Services organisation. This position is available on a Fixed Term Contract of between 12-18 Months covering maternity leave. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be required to control the finance function of the business, as well as providing reports and analysis on key performance and financial indicators for the business. What will the day to day look like? Leading a Finance Team Managing the group's cash flow and working capital Ensuring year end reporting information is provided to external accountants in a timely fashion and ensure regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met Providing and upgrade existing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports on the financial performance across the business Preparing and Overseeing Monthly Management Accounts Pack Providing financial analysis of trends within the group's income streams, highlighting opportunities and risks Providing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly financial analysis on profit and loss-making Coordinating and set company policies regarding capital requirements, salary budgets, net profit targets, debt and taxation Identifying cost-saving, revenue generation and profitable opportunities, where possible Are you who we are looking for? Ideally you will have a Professional Accountancy qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA preferred) A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role Professional Services experience preferred Direct experience managing a team and reporting directly into a senior level Experience of providing strategic advice to directors/CEOs.
