Principle point of contact for Northern Trust Custody clients taking performance, risk and compliance services. To also play a leading role in the continued product development for all performance measurement and analytical capabilities.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Delivering client's Performance reports to clients on a monthly or quarterly basis.
• Manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis by taking an active role in understanding their performance reporting requirements.
• Communicating with clients on a regular basis responding to issues, researching analytical problems and discussing performance analysis reporting capabilities. Service review meetings will be held on a regular basis.
• Work closely with the Northern Trust Performance Consultant and relationship management teams to support all mutual clients.
• Understanding the client's investment objectives, investment strategy, and general investment issues.
• Participate in continued product development of performance measurement capabilities and subsequent implementation into ongoing client deliverables.
• Sustain high level of knowledge in Northern Trust systems, investment instruments / markets and market trends in performance measurement and risk.
• Works with offshore teams to ensure operational processes and efficiencies are maximized.
• Participate in training initiatives for clients and internal partners.THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BENEFIT FROM HAVING:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to manage client relationships effectively.
• A willingness to learn about Performance Measurement and risk.
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments and portfolio management.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to think critically and analyse problems independently.
• Capable of working well within a team.
• Highly numerate.
• Good time management and prioritisation skills.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Maths/Economics/Finance or any other numerate background at university.
