Reporting & Risk Officer London, Canary Wharf: £25,750- £32,000 Ofgem is committed to making a positive difference for energy consumers through effective regulation of the market and close working with suppliers to ensure sustainable energy for consumers and businesses in the UK. This role will suit an individual with previous experience in risk management, business planning, corporate reporting or governance. You'll help to manage and mitigate organisational and financial risk through the provision of professional insight, awareness and risk management reporting. Key responsibilities will include maintaining the organisational risk register and identifying any overdue actions, and escalating as necessary. You'll also receive regular reporting information from Ofgem directortes and teams, and collate this as required as a central risk register. You'll produce the initial version of our monthly and quarterly risk reports, so the ability to draft high quality written material, with excellent attention to detail will be essential. You'll also play a key role in co-ordinating and facilitating risk awareness training to colleagues across the organisation to help enhance overall organisational expertise and awareness. Excellent IT skills (particularly in Excel) are essential to this role. It's also vital that you are very well organised and that you possess good all round communication skills (in writing and in person). Analytically minded you should be able to produce accurate and informative reports, enhanced by your own insights and evaluation of data.
