A rarely available and brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Dealership Accountant or Financial Controller to join this growing and respected motor retail group in the newly appointed role of Group Financial Controller. To be considered for the Group Financial Controller role, extensive motor retail experience is essential along with a track record of success in business and operational support. In the Group role, you will be responsible for: You will be responsible for the overseeing of the groups management and financial accounts You will work with the Managing Director, Operations Manager and the sites management teams. To help improve the performance of the dealerships Ensuring the company's assets are physically validated on a regular basis and ensuring satisfactory controls are maintained by regular monitoring and management of the processes You will also be responsible for ensuring all accounting and reporting deadlines are adhered to and will produce timely and accurate financial information in accordance with stated policies and procedures. To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience: A minimum of 10 years previous experience in a similar role within the Motor Retail Sector and ideally have a detailed understanding of a motortrade DMS, ideally kerridge. You will need to be flexible and results orientated with the ability to meet both manufacturer and internal deadlines, as well as possessing a detailed approach. Able to manage a team and support all senior and business managers In return, the Group Financial Controller will receive a basic salary circa £70,000 - £80,000 plus a company bonus / profit share, health care and company car
