Purchase Ledger Clerk London, E1W The Company Our client is an expanding Top 20 accountancy practice with offices across the UK and internationally. They are now looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to manage one of their prestigious clients who are a national group of restaurants. This role would suit someone who has experience in a similar role within the retail/restaurant industry, to work as part of a team providing accounting and payroll services. The Role As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will work as part of a team providing accounting and payroll services using accounting software such as Xero. This will include: - Maintaining the purchase ledger for our client and their large UK customers - Reconciliation of supplier accounts - Processing purchase invoices - Processing and reconciling credit card payments and petty cash transactions - Performing bank reconciliation and other finance and admin tasks There will be no additional qualification training provided by this employer. About You To be considered as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will need: - Experience in dealing with accounting and payroll tasks using Xero - Experience of performing data entry duties - Basic Excel skills This is a flexible role and our client will consider both part time and full time candidates. Full time will be 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) to be worked from 9.30AM to 5.30PM. Part time will be flexible to meet specific work demands and can be tailored to suit your specific needs. Your principal work base is our client's London office in E1W.
