Cardiff PACKAGE: Up to £30K Basic Salary Pension, Private Healthcare & 25 days holiday DURATION: 9 Month Fixed Term Contract JOB DESCRIPTION: The role will be responsible for key implementation activities including testing, documentation of output and exceptions reporting. During the parallel run period it is expected that this role will deliver accounting tasks in conjunction with existing processes. Experience of assisting in the preparation of financial ledgers and trial balances and associated reconciliations will therefore be required. - Produce test analysis deliverables as agreed with the programme - Work in conjunction with existing team to ensure reconciliations are fit for purpose. - Provide effective communications to management and business users to support the delivery of the test activity - Comply with the agreed test methodology and standards to ensure good governance and record keeping in with with the company group standards. - Responsible for supporting the implementation of a new chart of accounts, ensuring processes are fit for purpose and extending the functionality of spreadsheets when required. ABOUT YOU: Relevant experience working within a finance and accounting function Experience of execution of test scripts Excellent knowledge and experience of excel Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including word and PowerPoint. Experience of working on a core accounting system and performing ledger postings and reconciliations. Experience of using, extracting and reporting data from accounting and other office based administration systems.
