Investment Accounts Executive Enderby, Leicester (Our Ref AL926) £22,000 - £26,000 a year excellent benefits Our client is a well-established Chartered Financial Adviser firm, which specialises in self invested pensions and investment management for high net worth individuals and they now have an exciting opportunity for an Investment Accounts Executive to join their Leicester based team. The successful applicant will provide a quality administration service in respect of the investment portfolios managed by the Investment team. The team advises on, manages and administers portfolios on both an advisory and discretionary basis, for clients such as: Individuals, Self-Invested Pension Schemes (SIPP and SSAS), Companies, Trusts and Charities. The Role: Provide administrative support to the Partners and Consultants Maintain records that meet the requirements of the firm and the regulator Provide an in-house point of contact for the client Maintain a good working relationship with clients via regular communications Maintaining awareness of the Investment Strategy of the Team, including the investment products/funds currently recommended to buy, sell or hold Support the management of Investment Portfolios on a bespoke basis. Administer investment decisions and recommendations in accordance with the strategy of the Investment Team Keeping up-to-date with the global investment markets and with the different contracts and investment funds available Placing investment deals and transactions Processing new business using the diary system Obtaining compliant illustrations for new investments, where legislation requires Processing investment transactions such as sales, switches and encashments Recording all investment transactions on the client database (IRESS) Communicating with clients, both verbally and in writing, as well as fellow professionals, e.g. accountants and solicitors Preparing valuation statements from computer records and issuing to clients, together with recommendations for change, where appropriate Handling client queries Maintaining records of all activities undertaken through various back office system and maintaining paperless record system Contribution to the ongoing development and review of the investment strategy and systems of the investment team The Ideal Candidate: Educated to (at least) A-Level standard (or equivalent) Hold GCSE Maths (or equivalent) - Grade B or above (or equivalent) Hold GCSE English (or equivalent) - Grade B or above (or equivalent) A degree would be desirable but not essential MS Works/Office computer literate - MS Word, sending and receiving emails IT skills and knowledge of IT systems and programmes relevant to role, experience of IRESS would be beneficial It would be desirable if the candidate was achieving or working towards the industry standard level 4 qualification (CII/PFS Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent) Have knowledge of investment and other financial services legislation relevant to role, ideally with 2 years experience in this environment Knowledge of compliance procedures relevant to role, including the FCA Client Money and Money Laundering regulations Benefits: Salary range £22,000 to £26,000 dependant on qualifications, knowledge and experience. Discretionary bonuses (1/2 yearly, dependant on firm's profits) 2 x salary life assurance Pension; 5% employer contribution, increasing incrementally in recognition of service.
