Our client is a global solutions business, with an established reputation for excellence across the services that it provides. Due to further success and expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join its team, based in Nottingham. In this challenging yet rewarding role, the successful candidate will be ensuring the company's compliance with the Data Protection Act, amongst other legislation. Duties to include:
• Support the firm's Legal division with all compliance issues, to include contractual matters
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
• Implement risk and compliance policies and frameworks
• Advise and guide on any compliance requirements
• Perform comprehensive compliance checks on perspective clients
• Prepare reports for the Board of Directors on any compliance issues or violations Background required:
• Previous experience in a similar role essential
• Educated to degree level or equivalent (ideally in Law, Finance or Business related fields)
• Strong organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Ability to work on own initiative with little supervision
• Good business acumen and commercial awareness
• Experience within a legal setting advantageous

Salary:
