Vargo has an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Analyst to join a successful client based in North Cardiff. Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Analyst will be responsible for carrying out the accounting for securitisation, analysing, reviewing and issuing investor reports. Other activities also include liaising with banks, external auditors, other third party service providers on securitisation-related issues and assisting with processes relating to unsecured funding. This could be an entry level role for an accountancy & finance graduate who is interested in learning about treasury activities, or alternatively someone with financial analysis/treasury experience. JOB ROLE Preparation of management information to meet the bank reporting obligations of securitization transactions including monthly investor reporting from core system data Reviewing programs for capacity and maximizing efficiency in transactions Liaising with banking counterparts in the maintenance of the securitisation funding programs Managing financial reporting and accounting for the securitization transactions Liaise with accounting teams and operations Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports based on investor report information To ensure ongoing adherence to all relevant compliance regulations Preparation of intercompany reconciliations of unsecured funding lines for group companies, and cover for daily unsecured funding processes. REQUIREMENTS Strong analytical skills Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial transactions Educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance or similar/equivalent by experience Preferably currently studying for a professional accounting qualification e.g CIMA or ACCA Demonstrate experience in corporate treasury/finance, banking, auditing or accounting environment Experience of SAP is advantageous
