Our client is looking for a Commercial Analyst to join their team. The role will involve overseeing specific operational key cost areas including: External temporary labour suppliers, Operational services sub-contractors and business products. Responsibilities Working with Key Stakeholders that will include internal Procurement, Operations, HR & Finance teams in order to deliver a coherent supplier and product channel that optimises service in a cost-effective way Supporting the Finance Business Partner, CFO / COO directly with data gathering & collation to enable intelligent and informed business decision making for the areas of your responsibility Preparation and distribution of internal KPI reports and dashboards for your areas of responsibility, presenting the key information in a concise way to facilitate decision making Produce regular and various operational M.I. and analysis not produced regularly by the central Business Intelligence (B.I) team Ensuring that business seek and procure the best value subcontractors that deliver requisite service quality, and ensure that invoicing is accurate and the business achieve targeted net margin for each contractor used Essential Skills Highly numerate with strong analytical skills Strong commercial awareness as well as a mentality to challenge data, processes and systems within the business Previous negotiating and management experience desirable (Project environment) Comprehensive knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel essential Strong PowerPoint skills Part qualified (preferable) Dedicated, well-motivated and result-driven self-starter Meet deadlines and works effectively & at pace Data lead Compelling communicator, able to influence others at all levels Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical colleagues and to management, including formal presentations.
