Our client is a major high street financial services provider working within a well respected brand name. They are now looking to recruit a qualified financial analyst to provide business partnering support to various commercial teams. Ensure the provision of accurate, robust and informative product P&L's. Develop an in depth understanding of the income and cost drivers associated with the products. Closely track performance and investigate variances to plan, provide incisive commentary for the stakeholders. Attend and effectively participate in various decision making forums, providing updates and appropriate challenge. Update rolling forecasts taking account of trend, initiatives and risks also produce annual budgets. Assess the drivers behind income and cost streams and provide input in constructing plan which drives appropriate commercial decisions. Proactively support the Head of FP&A and other finance colleagues in achieving departmental objectives. The ideal applicant will be a part qualified, finalist or qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with the ability to influence and challenge across all levels of the business. You must have strong commercial awareness with proven analytical skills gained in a corporate environment. Strong Excel skills are required as well as a desire to succeed in a fast paced environment.
