We are recruiting for an established growing organisation based near Staines in Surrey. They are seeking a Finance Analyst to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking an opportunity where they can start developing a career within finance. Salary up to £26,000 per annum dependant on experience. The role will consist of overseeing, analysing and reporting on operational processes from a centralised perspective involving ordering of inventory, monitoring wastage and minimising outages. It will also involve planning store labour hours to be efficient and effective including tracking costs and creating targets for labour costs. The candidate must have a good attention to detail, have high commercial awareness and good communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Manage food ordering process limiting food wastage, ensuring no stock outs without over stocking
• Develop operations reports for increased usability, efficiency and effectiveness
• Actively adjust sales Mix for seasonal weather/temperature changes to assist with 1st objective
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities/ Use data to create models that spot trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
• Develop and improve the sales forecasting procedure and dissect forecasts to be more specific. E.g. Weekly Forecasts > Daily Forecasts > Hourly Forecasts
• Support with ad hoc tasks and required by management Qualifications
• Finance or Business-related degree would be essential or equivalent
• G.C.S.E grade A-C
• GDPR trained/awareness of regulations Requirements - skills and abilities
• Advanced level in Microsoft Excel and Intermediate in other Microsoft packages
• Excellent professional communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to prioritise work load and carry out routine tasks
• Take ownership of their own work load
• Can work well in a team environment Must be a driver due to location
