Operating as specialists within their field, this iconic law brand work with a number of high-profile corporate accounts, providing legal expertise across a variety of sectors throughout the UK.
Your new role
As the newest Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be exposed to a variety of responsibilities within this accounts function, such as ensuring all invoices are received and stamped before distribution, generating weekly reports for the Finance Director and getting invoices approved by the Finance Director before payments are made.
As well as the above, you will be responsible for inputting payments onto the accounting system, liaising with suppliers and ensuring queries are handled effectively.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience of a minimum of 2 years within a purchase ledger/accounts payable role, ideally within a professional services environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
Preferably an understanding of supplier reconciliations
Excellent numeracy skills with strong working knowledge of Excel
